What we collect

When you use Hulmee (the "Service") we collect: your name, email address, phone number, property address and postcode, the details of jobs you post, and photos you upload as part of a job or completion record.

How we use your data

• Matching you with appropriate local tradesmen
• Building and maintaining your home maintenance history
• Sending notifications about your jobs, proposals, and completions
• Operating, securing, and improving the Service

Data retention

We retain records of completed jobs to provide your home history service. On account deletion requests, we anonymise your personal details while retaining anonymised job records that may be needed for regulatory, safety, or warranty purposes.

Your GDPR rights

You have the right to access, rectify, and request erasure of your personal data. To exercise these rights, email hello@hulmee.com. Deletion requests are processed within 30 days.

ICO registration

Hulmee is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

What "vetted" means

We verify photo ID and public liability insurance for all approved tradesmen. Gas Safe registration is verified for gas and heating engineers. NICEIC (or equivalent) is verified for electricians.
